“How to Make Your Speech Sound Like Music to Their Ears”

by John Watkis on January 15, 2008

Last night, I gave a presentation to the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers in Toronto. If you’re not familiar with CAPS, they are the sister organization of the National Speakers Association. The audience consisted of people who make their living speaking, training and consulting. They’ve heard the best of the best, so you can understand that the task was a little daunting. I’ll share one clip with you now and share more once I’ve made my way through the recording.

Enjoy!

This was an excellent lesson in speech preparation.

I, too, remember certain speeches because of the chorus and the hook.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on my video. I’ll add more clips from the speech soon. I appreciate the feedback.
