How to Make Your Speech Sound Like Music to Their Ears … literally

by John Watkis on February 4, 2008

As you know, I’m in the process of writing a book based on my keynote speech, “How to Make Your Speech Sound Like Music to Their Ears”. I’ve become more excited about writing it because of the overwhelming response from professional speakers and corporate communicators.

As you can also tell, I’m a fan of Barack Obama’s speaking style. But I’m not the only one. It turns out will.I.am, of “Black Eyed Peas”, was so moved by Obama’s “concession” speech in New Hampshire, he wrote a song based on the speech AND created a music video. This is the literal translation of making a speech sound like music to their ears. It’s an amazing video! Take five minutes to watch it.
